Ballet Conservatoire Syllabus

The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet classical ballet training and examination program was developed by Christine Walsh. The ACB training and examination program emphasizes correct placement, use of artistic epaulement, musical dynamics and performing quality. Presently, this program is being used by over 300 teachers in Australia, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan and the Philippines. It was introduced into the United Kingdom in 2018.

Other ballet classes offered:

Pre Pointe & Conditioning

‘Pointe’ work is the part of classical ballet, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes. Pointe work is a defining addition to a girl’s ballet technique and requires great foundation strength.

Our Pre Pointe and conditioning class will prepare our dancers bodies for point work. We hope to add point classes in time when the students are ready.

Pas de deux

Partnering! This class will teach the dancers partner work. As they grow boys will learn how to support the female dancer, turn and lift her.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available and can be arranged with the Lehenda staff.

In a private lesson the students receives 100% attention. Private lessons can be used in the leave up to exams and over time to prepare completion solo’s.
